The newest iteration in 2018 data in Tableau features the 2016-2018 RNN Data that includes both the traditional linear regression based on economically disadvantaged only and a new multiple regression that considers additional "at-risk" factors correlated to student achievement. One of the most significant factors included in the new "multiple regression" was chronic absenteeism, district across the state are addressing attendance concerns (i.e. Strive for less than Five). The previous version of Tableau with RNN Data 2013-2017 is still available and features the weighted proficiency measure.

The MS Excel tools that were used since 2014 are archived here with support videos for regarding downloading and utilizing the tool. With the popularity of the Tableau in 2017, the creation of the MS Excel file has not continued in 2018.
For users familiar with the MS Excel tool that is featured in the podcasts below, here is the link: RNN Data Tool 2017. Mac users need MS Excel 2016 to use the interactive feature of the data tool. Following the initial presentation, MASA Region 3 superintendents requested an interactive tool that would show both the trend and the average over the last three years of the MEAP test. The RNN 2012-2014 Data Tool is available in both MS Excel XLSX or an older XLS version for Mac Books without a newer Excel version. The RNN 2014-2016 Data Tool is also available in both MS Excel XLSX and an older XLS version for Mac Books. |
